Not far from the exit off Route 1 for Boothbay in Edgecomb, Maine is an unassuming old barn converted into a homemade ice cream and coffee spot.
Blanchard’s Creamery Homemade Ice Cream and Coffee Shop is a fantastic place to stop for a treat be it their homemade ice cream made onsite or something from the cafe.
The creamery resides in a beautifully converted old post and beam barn. Nice clean bathroom, coffee bar, an array of handmade ice creams in creative flavors, frappes, breakfast items, a visible ice cream production area, and plenty of seating inside and out.
Worth the trip from any corner of the Mid-Coast Maine area!
