Winter Just Won’t Give Up It’s Icy Grasp

Winter arrived early and fiercely this year in the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire. We had snow on the ground and sub-zero temperatures at Thanksgiving and have had a series of winter storms.

Skiing has been great but at this time of year the ice and snowy road conditions, and taunts from people in Florida (80 degrees here!) begins to wear one down.

Winter On The Farm Etna New Hampshire

Spotting this subject to photograph in the barren winter landscape was a lucky find. An old red vintage farm truck stuck in a field, unable to get out of the way of an early winter snowstorm.

I often come across traditional red New England barns among snowy blankets of snow but this old truck provided a different kind of image.

This fine art photograph of the old truck in the snow can be purchased as a greeting card, prints rolled in a tube, canvas print for the living room, wood print for a rustic, vintage look, on high gloss metal in your own custom museum-quality frame and matting choice.
