Hunting down old vintage cars in Southern Utah

Traveling the back roads and mountain passes of remote southern Utah, almost to the border of Arizona, I came across an amazing site, a collection of vintage American automobiles from the 1940 – 1970s kept for parts.

Classic Auto Projects & Car Trader in Glendale is run by some nice people who don’t mind browsers, just don’t touch the merchandise! Besides the risk of getting cut and developing lockjaw if your tenus shots aren’t up to date, these cars serve the purpose of storing parts for people restoring old cars. So be respectful and don’t touch, just the photos.

The general region around this old parts yard in Glendale was ripe with old cars preserved by the dry climate. I found a lot of great automobile subjects for my photography.
