The future of a major player such as Canon much just be in creating a path from entry level, easy to use full frame camera. I know I’d buy one for the budding photographers in my household.
Take my wife for example. She loves using her iPhone and Snapseed to create image for Facebook and Instagram. I got her a Sony RX100 III for vacation photos but she still processes the images through her iPad and mainly uses the results for social media.
I’d love to be able to get her a camera that would allow her to grab lenses out of my collection of Canon glass. A $500, easy to use,
