If you saw the movie “I Am Legend” with Will Smith, you might not have known that it was based on a 1954 book and that a more true to the original version of the movie was released in 1964 starring Vincent Price.
I Am Legend is a 2007 American post-apocalyptic action thriller film based on the 1954 novel of the same name by Richard Matheson. A scientist finds himself to be the only survivor among a plague that turns people into zombies.
He goes around killing the zombies until one day he discovers a group of people surviving in a hybrid zombie/human state due to a treatment that keeps them alive. But they consider him a threat because he has been mistakenly killing members of this new order of creatures.
