No room for a pinball machine? Think again!

Where to put a pinball machine in your house

Pinball fans wanting to own their own pinball machine or several will always find a way to fit one of these large, heavy arcade machines in their home, often with creative thinking.

Pinball machines generally use 30 inches width by 54 inches depth.  Depending on the machine, heights can range from 48 – 96 inches. For unencumbered movement, a user needs a minimum of 36 inches in front of the machine and 20 inches on each side for elbow room.  The light show is part of the fun of pinball so general ambient or overhead lighting around the machine will work just fine.

The Basement

The basement is a typical spot for a pinball machine. Out of the way of eyesight and hearing, the basement is a perfect place to send the kids or husband to get out of the way and have some fun down in the basement.

The Dining Room

People these days often eat in front of the TV or at the kitchen counter. Way not put that unused dining room to better use by using it for a pinball playing area? Bonus points if there is easy access via sliding doors.
