We’ve been using Portland Pie Company pizza dough available from our local supermarket for a number of years now. We love it. We usually have it every Friday night to go along with our Friday Night Cocktails. We favor the dough made with Shipyard Brewing Co. beer.
We finally got a chance to try an actual Portland Pie Co. location. We visited the Windham location which as located in a busy strip mall area. The restaurant was nice looking stand-alone building near the busy road.
Inside was modern, stripped-down interior that seems to be the trend, as well as the ridiculous number of annoying large screen TVs spread around the rooms — so the modern restaurant patron can go from ignoring their friends or family by staring at their cell phone to starring at the TVs.
We saw lots of pizzas going out the door and being ordered in the restaurant. Yet we had just had pizzas at home using Portland Pie Co. dough the night before so opted for some sandwiches – thumbs up!
