Hyannis Port, Barnstable, Massachusetts on Cape Cod

Hyannis Port (or Hyannisport) is a small residential village located in in the town of Barnstable, MA on Cape Cod.  Hyannis Port is an affluent summer community on Hyannis Harbor, well known as the area in which the Kennedy’s have their family compound.

The area includes a post office, The News Shop and Gallery a golf course,  the Hyannisport Club as well as the West Beach Club and the Hyannis Port Yacht Club.  Two churchs – St. Andrew’s-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church and the Union Chapel conduct Sunday services in the summer.
