Coping with Covid

The Corona Virus or Covid-19 certainly is causing disruptions in people’s lives worldwide.

I’ve certainly seen my online fine art photography and artwork sales decline dramatically as well as my teaching opportunities evaporate.

I have my wife working from a makeshift home office in the front entranceway and my son set up in a downstairs bedroom for college classes. My office was moved into the master bedroom.

Now beyond worrying about catching the Corona Virus, we have to worry about catching Cabin Fever. I’ve been creating some silly art videos to stave off the fever and any boredom – there are only so many times I can clean the windows or rearrange the bookshelf.

Staying put and social distancing will save lives. Hopefully, everyone will take this seriously so we can end this crisis. Here is one I call “No Means No” :

Social distancing means isolation not gathering in groups.

Washing your hands is imperative for stopping this virus from spreading. Here is a public service message from me to you.

Wash your damn hands’ people!

I think we’ve become lax overtime in the handwashing department. When washing your hands can save your life for the life of those around you, hopefully, we’ll all pay more attention to the simple task.

Washing your hands properly is a great life skill although I’m not sure if we all learned it.

Keeping a clean house, washing our clothes and washing our dishes is also important to prevent the spread of disease. No reason why it can’t be fun also.

There is a right way, a wrong way and then the fun way to do daily chores.
