Along 6A in Cape Cod, heading toward the iconic row twenty plus identical cottages built in the 1930s, I noticed several other groups of small summer rental cottages in the area. What made me stop and turn the car around was a set of five cottages in various stages of renovation.
Comments closedBuilt in the 1930s, this row of small summer beachfront rental cottages along a beach side road in North Truro, Massachusetts on Cape Cod was the epicenter of countless generations of family vacations. Each week in the summer season, identical cottages were rented but individual family memories certainly were unique. Fine art photographer, Edward M. Fielding explores the idea of mass production and human altered landscape.
