A home in Vermont filled to the rim with junk. Fine art photography by Edward M. Fielding.

Driving around the backroads of Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire, I run into a lot of “savers”. Dumps are few and far between in the back country and you never know when you might need a carburetor off of an old Ford truck or a cast iron bathtub for that horse trough or a Mary on the Half Shell tribute yard decoration.

Scrap metal prices might skyrocket. Someone might need an old refrigerator. Wood is always useful.

I’ve seen a lot of savers in rural New England that is for sure but this house is rather exceptional in the hoarding of junk department.
