Video Postcard from Fort Myers Beach, Florida

Beautiful sunsets along the sandy beaches of Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Enjoy this little slice of vacation.

My parents live down in Fort Myers, Florida, not far from Sanibel Island so I managed to sneak down there a few times each year.  Unfortunately the trips during the long cold winters in New Hampshire are too short but I do manage to create a few magical camera moments while I’m there.  I have pay for the Mojitos somehow.  They certainly don’t drink themselves or pay for themselves.

Fort Myers Beach is a town located on Estero Island in Lee County, Florida, United States. The population was 6,277 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.  The Fort Myers Beach fishing pier juts out into the Gulf of Mexico at the foot of the bridge from the mainland to the island where the town of Fort Myers Beach overlooks the Gulf and the famous Sanibel Island which is known for its great seashells. There is ample parking among the many shops and restaurants that surround the entryway to the pier. In addition if you would like to park off site there are several “vintage look” trolleys to help you get around on the island. They are a great way to shop for picnic supplies or any other items you may need for your fishing adventure.
