Q: How can I become a good photographer?

A:  Becoming a better photographer is a life long pursuit. It starts with good equipment, knowing that equipment and practicing your craft every single day.  Also get in the habit of carrying your camera daily and take image of your immediate world, not just dust of the camera for vacations.

As the famous photographer once said:

“Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst.” ― Henri Cartier-Bresson

Or as Ansel Adams once said 10 or 12 great images a year is a good crop.

You also need to study composition and feed the visual part of your brain with daily doses of great visual art, not just photographer. Forget the Facebook feeds. Look at outstanding photography in magazines, museums and galleries. Study the masters and learn to see through their eyes.
