Mondays After The Oscars

I hate mondays
I hate mondays

The Monday after the Superbowl is often tough especially if our team is playing. But so is the Monday after the Oscars if you are inclined to stay up late to see who won best picture.

There were so many good films out this year. I don’t see a lot movies but I did see “La La Land”, “Hell or High Water”, “Star Trek Beyond”, “Dr. Strange”, “Suicide Squad”, “Arrival”, “Zootopia”, “Piper” and “Rogue One – A Star Wars Story”. So many good movies out this year. I have to admit I saw someone of these either on the airplane or the bus to the airport. So many more I need to see.

But anyway what everyone is talking about this morning is the screw up when the Best Picture award was handed out. In a real Steve Harvey moment, the wrong envelope was read giving the award momentarily to La La Land but corrected and given rightfully to Moonlight. What a fail! I feel bad for the Moonlight crew whose moment was kind of deflated by the mix up. Below is the video of the moment.
