Disney World Orlando Florida At Trip Back in Time to 1995

Nearly 25 years ago a photographer, his young wife and a college buddy were offered a co-workers condo in Orlando and decided to take a trip to the Disney Amusement Parks.

If you’ve been to any of these large amusement parks in Orlando, Florida, you know that something is always being ripped out and made over.  Rides come and go and sometimes even come back again.  Sections of the part are changed, updated, removed, made over or somehow replaced.

Part of the marketing of the parks is that there is always something new and exciting coming soon or at least in the time for your next vacation so you just have to come back in the future to experience the latest thrills.

Because of this any photographs from 10, 20 or 30 years back are going to look a lot different than a contemporary experience.  Documenting the changes that occur at these parks could be an annual job.

This series of Disney World photographs taken by photographer Edward M. Fielding with an Olympus OM-G film camera and a standard 50mm lens were found on a Kodak DVD.  Back in the early days of personal computers you could have your film processed and scanned on to DVDs.

Enjoy this look back at Disney World, what was known then a MGM Studios and Cape Canaveral.
